Free tool · SVG checker

Check your SVG,
Before the printer does.

Scan your SVG logo for the problems that come back from printers and sign makers: embedded images, text not converted to outlines, very thin strokes, tiny details, too many colors and open paths. You get a clear pass or warning list with a fix for each.

FAQ

Quick questions,
Straight answers.

Why does live text matter?

If the printer does not have your font, the logo prints in a different one. Converting text to outlines turns letters into shapes, so the logo looks the same everywhere.

What counts as a hairline stroke?

Strokes thinner than about 0.25 pt can vanish or break up when the logo is printed small. The checker flags them assuming the logo prints 1 inch wide.

Is an embedded image a problem?

Usually yes. A bitmap inside an SVG cannot scale cleanly and often looks soft. A logo should be made only of vector shapes.
